The iconic Mills Reef winery building, once an art deco-styled winery and event space in Tauranga, has now been restored as The Vines at Bethlehem Clubhouse.

The completed Clubhouse spanning over 2000sqm, includes an indoor swimming pool and spa, auditorium, theatre, library, gym, lounge areas – including a pool table lounge – plus resident workshop, arts and craft room, bowling green, and hairdressing and wellness spaces.

We worked with Mills Reef in the early stages of development to ensure the winery’s history on this site was preserved through retention of the building, naming of the village and its streets also paying homage to that history. Classic Group Director, Peter Cooney, said The Vines was developed with a gold class lifestyle in mind, so it was apt that its clubhouse would be “such a gem of a building”.
