17th Avenue Business Park was first established in 2012, located opposite the Historic Village in Tauranga. On this 4.2Ha piece of land, we’ve developed nine buildings so far with land earmarked for seven more.

Built upon the wetlands in the Kopurererua Valley, bordering the stream that runs into the harbour, there was substantial subgrade improvements needed to prepare this land for commercial and industrial construction. Insulated panelling was originally used to reduce build time and the resulting structure stands testament to CBC Construction’s top quality workmanship.

When development first began on this site, this location was considered out of town. Due to the considerable growth in Tauranga and it’s close proximity to the Tauranga hospital, this area is now prime real estate for a lot of commercial businesses. Currently the business park is home to Classic Group with head offices for Classic Builders, CBC Construction and Classic Developments.

Being in such close proximity to the Tauranga hospital has made it an ideal location for a number of healthcare connected industries to situate themselves. With tenants including Footsteps, Blind Foundation, the Tauranga DHB and a 200 vehicle capacity carpark for Tauranga hospital.
